"I tithed faithfully but the church misused the money—I funded corruption instead of ministry."
How it sounds in your head: I gave sacrificially for decades while leadership bought luxury cars and built monuments to themselves. My giving financed their greed. I should have kept it.
"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you."
-- Luke 6:38Source: Legitimate stewardship concerns twisted by enemy into regret that blocks future generosity and breeds cynicism about all giving.
Financial records revealed misuse. Lavish lifestyles contradicted stated needs. His sacrificial giving funded extravagance while missions starved—the evidence is concrete.
The disciples' treasurer was a THIEF who skimmed from the money bag for three years, yet Jesus kept giving. The generous woman's alabaster perfume reached its purpose despite Judas's fake concern for the poor. Corrupt handlers didn't stop the worship or nullify the gift's eternal significance.
I REFUSE the lie that corrupt handlers nullify my generous heart or steal my reward. IT IS WRITTEN that my measure of giving determines my measure of return, and God Himself supplies seed to the sower—not human stewards. I am the righteousness of God in Christ—the BARAK blessing of Abraham includes 'the Lord will command the blessing on your storehouses.' My giving was unto HIM, not unto man. IT IS WRITTEN that He is not unjust to forget my work and labor of love. I declare that every seed sown in faith—even through imperfect hands—produces a harvest that corrupt leaders cannot touch.
Your Father sees every dollar you gave with a pure heart, every sacrifice made in trust, and He's NOT letting corrupt handlers steal your reward. He's running toward you saying 'I saw your HEART when you gave, and MY promise to multiply seed sown stands regardless of who mishandled it—your harvest is coming FROM ME.'
