"I talk too much and dominate conversations without realizing it"
How it sounds in your head: You monopolize every conversation. People are just being polite when you ramble. You interrupt without meaning to. You process out loud and exhaust everyone. If you were more aware, you'd notice people checking out when you talk. You're socially oblivious and annoying.
"Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit."
-- Proverbs 18:21Enemy twisting the gift of words into a source of shame and silence
Someone once said 'you talk a lot' and now you replay every conversation analyzing if you dominated it. You've noticed friends' eyes wander when you're mid-story, making you feel like a burden in every group setting.
Apollos was 'eloquent and mighty in the Scriptures,' and he spoke BOLDLY, even when his theology was incomplete. Instead of shutting him down, Aquila and Priscilla REFINED him, then he became so effective he 'vigorously refuted the Jews publicly.'
I REFUSE the lie that my words are a burden. IT IS WRITTEN that death and LIFE are in the power of the tongue—my mouth is a weapon of LIFE, not a liability to manage. Apollos spoke BOLDLY even with incomplete knowledge, and God REFINED him into a force. My processing out loud isn't social clumsiness; it's how I WAGE WAR in the spiritual realm. IT IS WRITTEN that the BARAK blessing commands blessing on everything I set my hand to—including my MOUTH. I don't shrink my voice to make insecurity comfortable. I speak LIFE because the Father gave me a tongue that carries His POWER.
The Father isn't waiting for you to shut up—He's leaning in to HEAR you. He whispers, 'Son, your voice sounds like Mine. Speak BOLDLY. I gave you words because this world is DYING for someone to speak LIFE.'
