"I show up, I serve, I give everything, but I'm still invisible to the people who matter most."
How it sounds in your head: You organized the whole event and no one thanked you. You sent the thoughtful text and got left on read. You're the glue holding everything together and they don't even see you're about to break. You wonder if you stopped showing up, would anyone even notice you were gone.
"Then she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, You-Are-the-God-Who-Sees; for she said, 'Have I also here seen Him who sees me?'"
-- Genesis 16:13Enemy whisper convincing you that human recognition determines your value, erasing the truth that the Father's gaze never leaves you.
You watch less qualified people get opportunities while your résumé sits unopened. Social media shows everyone celebrating everyone else while your milestones pass without comment, making you question if you're as forgettable as you feel.
Pregnant, abused, running away in the desert with no resources and no future—society's ultimate invisible woman. The Angel of the Lord PURSUED her into the wilderness, spoke destiny over her son, and she became the only person in Scripture to give God a name: El Roi, the God Who Sees Me.
I REFUSE the lie that I am invisible or forgotten. IT IS WRITTEN that He is El Roi, the God Who Sees Me, and His eyes never leave me even when human eyes look past me. I am not overlooked by Heaven—the Father runs toward me with the robe, the ring, the sandals, throwing a party over my existence. IT IS WRITTEN that I am graven on the palms of His hands, that He knows the number of hairs on my head, that His thoughts toward me outnumber the sand. I walk in the BARAK blessing of Abraham where God defends and promotes those in covenant with Him regardless of human recognition. I am seen, known, celebrated, and delighted in by the One whose opinion is the only one that defines reality.
While you're scanning the room wondering if anyone notices you, the Father is scanning the horizon waiting to run toward you. He's not waiting for you to do something noteworthy to finally see you—He named Himself THE GOD WHO SEES YOU before you were born, and His gaze has never wavered for a millisecond.
