"You're in a room full of people and feel completely alone. You're socially invisible—present but unseen."
How it sounds in your head: You show up to gatherings and feel like a ghost. Conversations happen around you, not with you. You could leave and no one would notice. Being in a crowd makes you feel MORE alone than being by yourself.
"The LORD your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."
-- Zephaniah 3:17Trauma: Past rejections and current isolation have convinced you that you're inherently uninteresting and unworthy of connection.
It happens every time—you're physically present but emotionally alone. People form circles that don't include you. You've stopped trying because the rejection of being in a room and still alone is too painful.
Elijah felt COMPLETELY alone—'I alone am left, and they seek to take my life.' God said, 'I have reserved 7,000 who have not bowed to Baal.' In ONE MOMENT, Elijah went from 'I'm alone' to 'I have 7,000 allies I didn't know existed.'
I REFUSE the lie that I'm alone or invisible. IT IS WRITTEN: 'The LORD your God is in your MIDST... He will rejoice over you with SINGING.' I am NOT alone. God is WITH me—celebrating me, singing over me, DELIGHTING in me. IT IS WRITTEN: 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.' I am Abraham's seed. The BARAK is on me. I am SURROUNDED by favor. Like Elijah, I have allies I don't even know about yet. I am NOT alone. I am NEVER invisible.
The Father is in that room with you—closer than the people ignoring you. While they talk around you, He's leaning in, SINGING over you, rejoicing in your presence. You're not alone. You're ACCOMPANIED by the King.
