"I should just survive until Jesus returns, not build or invest."
How it sounds in your head: Why pour energy into earthly things when He could come any moment? Just maintain, downsize, simplify. Building is for people who don't believe He's coming soon.
"So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come.'"
-- Luke 19:13Religious escapism masquerading as readiness, enemy using imminence to abort divine assignments.
Every generation has believed He was coming in their lifetime. At 70+, it feels especially close. Investing in earth seems to contradict longing for heaven.
The servant who received five talents immediately went and TRADED with them, doubling the investment. When the master returned, he said 'Well done, GOOD and FAITHFUL. You were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over MANY.' Reward for INVESTING, not hiding.
I REFUSE the lie that I should just survive until Jesus returns. IT IS WRITTEN: Do BUSINESS till I come. I am under the BARAK blessing—blessed in all I set my hand to, lending to nations and not borrowing. IT IS WRITTEN: Occupy until I come. The servant who buried his talent was CONDEMNED. The servant who MULTIPLIED was REWARDED. I am not a hider—I am a MULTIPLIER. I build, plant, invest, and INCREASE. When He returns, He will find me DOING, not surviving.
The Father isn't looking for survivors hunkered in bunkers—He's looking for sons OCCUPYING territory. He's running toward you saying 'I gave you gifts to MULTIPLY, not bury. Trade with them. Build with them. When I return, I want to find you REIGNING, not hiding.'
