"I should just focus on spiritual things now; earthly dreams are pointless when Jesus returns soon."
How it sounds in your head: Why pursue a career, build wealth, or create art when none of it matters eternally? Caring about earthly success feels carnal when the Kingdom is what counts. I should just evangelize and wait.
"And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men."
-- Colossians 3:23Source: Religious false dichotomy between sacred and secular, making God-given earthly assignments feel unspiritual and reducing Kingdom assignment to evangelism only.
Church culture often elevates 'ministry' above 'secular work,' making careers feel second-class. If Jesus returns tomorrow, did my degree matter? Feels more holy to focus on souls than spreadsheets, missions than business.
God FILLED Bezalel with His Spirit—not to preach, but to do ARTISTIC DESIGN, woodworking, metalwork, and stone-cutting for the Tabernacle. God's first recorded 'Spirit-filling' in Scripture was for a CRAFTSMAN, proving earthly skill is sacred assignment.
I REFUSE the lie that earthly dreams are unspiritual. IT IS WRITTEN that WHATEVER I do, I do heartily as to the LORD—there is no secular/sacred split in His Kingdom. The enemy wants me reducing Kingdom assignment to preaching only, but I am BEZALEL, filled with God's Spirit to create, design, build, and excel in earthly arenas AS WORSHIP. IT IS WRITTEN that I am blessed in my storehouses and in all I set my hand to (Deuteronomy 28:8). My career, art, business, and creativity are ANOINTED because I carry the Abraham blessing—blessed to BE a blessing. I am a Kingdom architect in EVERY sphere.
Your Father didn't give you creativity, business ideas, or career dreams to distract you from 'real ministry'—those ARE the ministry. He's running toward you with Bezalel's blueprint, saying 'I filled you with My Spirit for THIS assignment—go build, create, and excel as WORSHIP, daughter, because spreadsheets and art and business done unto Me shake nations.'
