"I require too much grace and patience from people around me"
How it sounds in your head: You mess up constantly and people are tired of extending grace. You're high-maintenance relationally—always needing forgiveness, always requiring patience. Normal people don't need this many second chances. You exhaust everyone's capacity for grace. Eventually they'll run out and leave.
"Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness."
-- Lamentations 3:22-23Enemy twisting the INFINITE nature of God's grace into a finite human resource
You've apologized to the same person multiple times for similar failures. You see frustration in their eyes and assume you've depleted their grace reserves, like there's a limit you're approaching and soon you'll be abandoned.
Peter denied Jesus THREE TIMES, cursing and swearing he didn't know Him—the worst possible failure. Jesus' response? Made him breakfast on the beach, asked 'Do you love Me?' three times to RESTORE him, then said, 'FEED MY SHEEP,' giving him the keys to the Church.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm exhausting everyone's grace reserves. IT IS WRITTEN that His compassions FAIL NOT and are NEW EVERY MORNING. Peter denied Jesus three times and got BREAKFAST and RESTORATION, not rejection. The Father's grace isn't a budget I'm depleting—it's an OCEAN that never runs dry. IT IS WRITTEN that the BARAK blessing flows to me NOT because I earned it but because of COVENANT. Abraham lied twice and got RICHER. I don't require 'too much' grace—I require EXACTLY the infinite grace the Father LOVES to give. His mercies are FRESH at sunrise, and today is a NEW DAY.
The Father isn't sighing at your repeated failures—He's preparing BREAKFAST on the beach like He did for Peter. He whispers, 'Son, My grace isn't running low. It's an OCEAN, and you haven't even made a DENT. Come eat. Let's start fresh.'
