THE LIE Provision Doubt

"I need to tithe and give correctly before God will bless my finances."

How it sounds in your head: If I could just tithe faithfully, doors would open. But when money's tight, tithing feels impossible—which means I'm blocking my own blessing. I'm supposed to give to receive, but I barely have enough to give.

IT IS WRITTEN 2 Corinthians 9:8

"And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work."

Enemy whispers: You must tithe correctly to unlock blessing. BUT IT IS WRITTEN: 2 Corinthians 9:8 - 'God is ABLE to make ALL GRACE ABOUND toward you.' Not based on your giving percentage. GRACE. He gives you SUFFICIENCY and ABUNDANCE based on His ability and His grace, not your tithe calculation. You're not under law—you're under the covenant of GRACE where blessing flows from His nature, not your giving performance.

Quick Truth: LIE: Must tithe to unlock blessing. TRUTH: God makes ALL GRACE abound toward you—blessing is grace, not transaction. (2 Cor 9:8)

WHERE THIS LIE COMES FROM

Religion makes tithing a law requirement for blessing, turning giving into a work you must perform to unlock God's provision.

Why this feels true:

Malachi 3 gets preached constantly with the promise that God will 'open the windows of heaven' if you tithe. It feels like there's a direct transaction: tithe correctly, get blessed; fail to tithe, stay stuck.

THE BIBLICAL PRECEDENT Mark 12:42-44

The Widow with Two Mites

Gave two tiny coins, all she had to live on—less than a penny. Jesus didn't rebuke her for not tithing a proper percentage or holding back for rent. He commended her and said she gave more than all the rich people, valuing her heart over the amount.

I REFUSE the lie that I must tithe correctly to receive blessing. IT IS WRITTEN: God makes ALL GRACE abound toward me—blessing flows from HIS GRACE, not my giving performance. The widow gave two pennies and Jesus celebrated her heart, not her percentage. I am not under Law but under GRACE. IT IS WRITTEN: Christ redeemed me from the curse of the Law so the blessing of Abraham would come upon me. That blessing is by COVENANT, not by tithing compliance. My giving flows FROM blessing, not FOR blessing.
