"I need to build my entire life around managing this condition."
How it sounds in your head: Your calendar is medication schedules and doctor appointments. Your kitchen is special diets and supplements. Your social life bends around flare-ups and energy levels. Career choices limited by insurance needs and sick days. The disease is the sun everything orbits around.
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."
-- Matthew 6:33Source: Enemy strategy to make sickness central, reducing life to symptom management instead of kingdom purpose.
Missing medication has consequences. Ignoring symptoms makes things worse. Every life decision now factors in your condition—jobs with good insurance, proximity to specialists, flexible schedules. It IS consuming everything because the consequences are real.
Sick to the point of death, Isaiah said 'set your house in order, you shall die.' Hezekiah prayed, and before Isaiah left the palace courtyard, God sent him BACK—fifteen years ADDED instantly. No process, no management plan, just immediate divine reversal.
I REFUSE to build my life around managing sickness. IT IS WRITTEN that I seek FIRST the kingdom and all these things—including health—are ADDED. My life is built on Christ, not on coping mechanisms. The BARAK blessing of Abraham means I am blessed in BODY, blessed in my coming and going, and enemies of my health flee before me seven ways. IT IS WRITTEN in Exodus 23:25 that He takes sickness away from the midst of me. Disease doesn't get to be the organizing principle of my life—Jesus does. I am a son on a mission, not a patient managing symptoms.
The Father didn't design your life to revolve around sickness—He designed sickness to flee at His name. While you were building contingency plans, He was building resurrection power in your mortal body. He's not asking you to manage. He's asking you to reign.
