"I need to be older or more mature before I can take authority over darkness."
How it sounds in your head: Real spiritual authority comes with years of walking with God and growing up. Right now I'm too new, too young in my faith. Maybe when I'm a teenager or adult I'll be ready to actually fight the enemy.
"Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, because of Your enemies, that You may silence the enemy and the avenger."
-- Psalm 8:2Source: Religion creates hierarchies of spiritual maturity that delay access to weapons Jesus freely gives—making authority a reward instead of a birthright.
You see adults who have walked with God for years taking authority, and it feels presumptuous to think you could do the same at your age. Maturity feels like a prerequisite for power.
Josiah became king at age EIGHT and began seeking God at age SIXTEEN. By age TWENTY he was purging Israel of idols and leading national revival—immediate spiritual authority with massive impact as a teenager.
I REFUSE the lie that I need to wait until I'm older to walk in authority. IT IS WRITTEN that out of the mouth of BABES God has ordained strength to SILENCE the enemy. My age is not a limitation—it's a weapon that confounds darkness when a CHILD defeats principalities. Jesus said unless you become like a little child, you cannot enter the kingdom. IT IS WRITTEN that I am a NEW creation in Christ—old things have passed away, ALL things have become new. I carry the BARAK blessing right now, not someday. The blood of Jesus doesn't have an age requirement. I am DANGEROUS to the kingdom of darkness TODAY.
The Father isn't waiting for you to grow up before He gives you authority—He's delighting in watching you discover that He put the weapon in your hands the moment you believed, regardless of your age.
