"The enemy has legal right to attack me because of my family's generational curses."

How it sounds in your head: Addiction runs in my family. So does depression and divorce. My grandfather struggled, my dad struggles, now I'm struggling. It feels like I inherited a curse, and the enemy has legal access to my life because of what my ancestors did.

IT IS WRITTEN Galatians 3:13

Enemy whispers: 'Generational curses give me legal right to your life.' BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Galatians 3:13 - 'Christ has REDEEMED us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us.' Jesus didn't partially break curses—He REDEEMED you, which means He BOUGHT YOU BACK from every curse. IT IS WRITTEN in Colossians 2:14 that Jesus 'wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us...and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.' Every legal claim was CANCELED at Calvary. The enemy has ZERO legal right to you. You are not under law—you are under GRACE (Romans 6:14). Generational blessings flow, but generational curses were SEVERED at the cross.

The Father didn't wait for you to break every family pattern before welcoming you—He placed you in Christ, which means your identity is NO LONGER tied to your bloodline but to the King's bloodline. You eat at His table not because of your family tree, but because of HIS covenant.
