"I need to accept this as God's will and stop hoping for healing"
How it sounds in your head: Maybe you're being presumptuous asking for healing. Maybe this IS God's will, and you need to surrender to it. All that hope is just setting you up for disappointment. Faithful people accept what God allows.
"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."
-- 3 John 1:2Religious passivity disguised as surrender, making God the author of suffering and calling hopelessness 'faith.'
You've prayed, others have prayed, and you're still limited. Religious voices say continued hope is denial or lack of acceptance. Giving up feels spiritually mature.
Sick for TWELVE YEARS, spent everything on doctors, only got worse. She refused to accept it as 'God's will,' pressed through the crowd, touched Jesus' garment, and was IMMEDIATELY healed—Jesus commended her FAITH, not her acceptance of sickness.
I REFUSE the lie that this limitation is God's will and I should stop hoping. IT IS WRITTEN that God's will is for me to prosper and be in HEALTH, just as my soul prospers. Jesus bore my sicknesses at the cross—I don't honor His sacrifice by carrying what He already carried. The woman with the issue of blood didn't 'accept' twelve years of suffering; she pressed through for healing and Jesus called it FAITH. IT IS WRITTEN that by His stripes I AM healed—present tense, finished work. I will not call religious hopelessness 'surrender.' I surrender to HIS WILL, which is abundant life.
The Father isn't asking you to embrace sickness as His will—Jesus revealed the Father's heart by healing EVERYONE who came to Him. He's running toward you with healing in His wings, not asking you to make peace with disease.
