"I must have missed God's will, so now He won't answer prayers in this area."
How it sounds in your head: You made that career decision without really seeking God. You married her even though there were red flags. You moved when maybe you should've stayed. Now you're dealing with consequences, and God's hands are tied—or worse, He's letting you sit in the mess you made. You blew it, and some opportunities don't get a second chance.
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."
-- Romans 8:28Source: Religion teaching that you can permanently step outside God's will and lose access to His provision in that area, as if one wrong choice ends His plan.
You genuinely made decisions you're not sure were God's best. Now you're living with difficult consequences. It feels logical that God won't redeem what you chose wrong. You're in your forties—some things feel irreversible now.
Jonah directly disobeyed God, ran opposite direction, got thrown off ship, swallowed by fish for three days. After that disaster, God spoke 'the SECOND TIME'—same call, same assignment, full restoration. Jonah preached, entire city of Nineveh repented—MASSIVE breakthrough after complete rebellion and second chance.
I REFUSE the lie that I've missed God's will beyond repair. IT IS WRITTEN that ALL things work together for good—including my mistakes, wrong decisions, and detours. My Father is not Plan B God scrambling to salvage what I broke. He works ALL THINGS—even my failures—into His good purpose. IT IS WRITTEN that the word of the Lord came to Jonah the SECOND TIME with the SAME assignment. I have not disqualified myself. The BARAK blessing covered LIARS and DECEIVERS—how much more does grace cover my wrong turns. I declare God is redeeming every choice, restoring every consequence, and moving me into HIS BEST right now.
Your Father doesn't have a shelf for people who made wrong decisions where He can't help them anymore. He's the God of second chances, third chances, seventy-times-seven chances. Like the prodigal who made EVERY WRONG CHOICE and still got the ring, robe, and party, your Father is ready to restore and redirect you into abundance—not Plan B, but HIS BEST—right now.
