"I must have heard God wrong about my child's destiny. Look at where they are now."
How it sounds in your head: I was so sure I heard God speak promises over this child when they were young. But their current reality contradicts everything I thought I heard. Maybe I made it all up.
"Who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, 'So shall your descendants be.' And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah's womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform."
-- Romans 4:18-21Enemy uses natural evidence to make you doubt supernatural revelation, questioning God's voice and prophetic promises.
The gap between the promise and the present reality feels insurmountable. Their current trajectory seems to mock what you once believed God said.
Dreamed he would rule and his family would bow to him - then was sold into slavery, falsely accused, and imprisoned for years. The dream looked dead. Yet in ONE DAY he went from prison to palace, and the dream came true exactly as spoken.
I REFUSE the lie that I heard God wrong about my child's destiny. IT IS WRITTEN that Abraham believed contrary to hope, in hope, not considering the dead circumstances but fully convinced God would perform what He promised. The prophecies, the whispers, the promises I received over my child are TRUE and WILL manifest. IT IS WRITTEN that God's word does not return void but accomplishes His purpose. Current reality is not final reality. I am Abraham's seed, and the BARAK blessing declares my offspring will be blessed. What God said, He will do.
God is not surprised by your child's detour - He factored it into the plan and is working it for good. The promises He spoke over them are not cancelled by their choices, and the destiny He ordained is still in motion.
