The seventy returned with JOY saying even the demons were subject to them in Jesus' name—and these were regular disciples, not apostles with special anointing. Jesus confirmed their authority was real, telling them to rejoice not that demons submit, but that their NAMES ARE WRITTEN IN HEAVEN—their identity, not their performance, is what matters.
I REFUSE the lie that dark thoughts mean I'm demon possessed. IT IS WRITTEN that I cast down every argument that exalts itself against knowing God. These are LIES thrown at my mind, not proof of occupation. My body is the TEMPLE of the Holy Spirit—there is no room for squatters. IT IS WRITTEN that I have been sealed by the Spirit as a guarantee of my inheritance. I bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. The BARAK blessing over Abraham's seed means I am protected, guarded, and kept by the power of God. I am not a victim of my thoughts—I am a WARRIOR over them.
The Father isn't shocked by your dark thoughts or wondering if you're possessed—He's teaching you to wield the authority you already have in Christ. Like the seventy who discovered demons fled at Jesus' name through their mouths, you have that SAME authority, not because you're strong, but because HIS name is.
