"I missed God's timing—the opportunities He had for me have passed."
How it sounds in your head: There was a season when doors were open, and you didn't walk through them. You were too afraid, too distracted, too something. Now those doors are closed and you're past the window.
"A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation. I, the LORD, will hasten it in its time."
-- Isaiah 60:22Source: Enemy's 'too late' lie mixed with religious teaching about 'missing God's will' and forfeiting destiny.
You can point to specific moments you didn't act, and those exact opportunities are gone. Friends who took risks are thriving; you played it safe and now feel left behind.
God promised him a son at 75. Nothing happened. At 99—TWENTY-FOUR YEARS 'LATE'—God showed up and said 'I am Almighty God.' At 100 Abraham held Isaac. The delay wasn't denial; it was SETUP for a miracle that glorified God more.
I REFUSE the lie that I missed God's timing or that opportunities have passed me by. IT IS WRITTEN that the LORD will HASTEN it in His time—He accelerates what looks impossible. I am under the BARAK covenant blessing that isn't limited by my past decisions. IT IS WRITTEN that I will lend to many nations and borrow from none, be the head and not the tail. Like Abraham who received the promise at 75 but held the baby at 100, God's 'late' is actually PERFECT timing for greater glory. My best assignments are AHEAD, not behind. What looks like missed opportunity is about to become MULTIPLIED opportunity.
The Father isn't checking His watch disappointed—He's been orchestrating everything including the delays. What you thought you missed was actually His protection. Now He's releasing what you're truly ready for, and it's BETTER than the earlier version.
