"I missed God's best by not marrying that one person years ago."
How it sounds in your head: There was someone back in my twenties who was 'the one' and I blew it. Now I'm stuck with God's second-rate plan. I chose wrong and now I'm paying for it.
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."
-- Romans 8:28Religious teaching about 'missing God's will' that makes His plan fragile and your choices more powerful than His sovereignty.
You remember a past relationship that seemed perfect, and everything since has felt like settling. The enemy replays 'what if' scenarios constantly, making you believe one wrong turn ruined everything.
Jacob worked seven years for Rachel, got tricked into marrying Leah, worked another seven years, ended up with both wives in a messy situation. Yet God blessed him with 12 sons who became the tribes of Israel—his 'mistake' marriage produced Judah, the Messianic line.
I REFUSE the lie that I missed God's best and I'm stuck in Plan B. IT IS WRITTEN that ALL things work together for my good because I love God and am called according to His purpose. My past relationships weren't mistakes that derailed God's plan—they were preparation for what He's bringing. IT IS WRITTEN in Philippians 3:13 that I forget what is behind and reach forward to what is ahead. The BARAK blessing isn't derailed by my choices. The Father redeems, restores, and works all things together. I declare there is no Plan B—only God's sovereign plan unfolding perfectly.
The Father isn't sitting in heaven frustrated that you 'blew it'—He's actively working every past relationship, every wrong turn, into the setup for something better. He's running toward you with restoration, not resignation.
