"Being single now means God forgot about this part of my life and isn't paying attention."
How it sounds in your head: I've seen God answer prayers about other things, but this area feels empty and forgotten. Maybe He cares about some parts of my life but not this one. Maybe romantic stuff isn't important enough for Him to notice or care about.
"Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows."
-- Matthew 10:29-31Enemy lie that God is selective in His attention and care, making her feel that singleness means divine neglect rather than divine protection.
She sees God move in other areas—school, family, friends—but the romantic area feels untouched, making her wonder if God either forgot or doesn't care. Her longing feels dismissed rather than held.
Hannah was barren for YEARS, crying out to God while it seemed He wasn't listening. The priest even thought she was drunk because of her desperate prayers. Then suddenly—'the LORD remembered Hannah'—and she conceived Samuel, who became one of Israel's greatest prophets. God hadn't forgotten; He was waiting for the PERFECT timing.
I REFUSE the lie that God forgot about my romantic future or isn't paying attention to this area of my life. IT IS WRITTEN that the very HAIRS of my head are numbered—if He tracks that level of detail, He hasn't missed one moment of my story. God doesn't forget—He PROTECTS with perfect timing. IT IS WRITTEN that He works ALL things together for good for those who love Him. The BARAK blessing of Abraham means EVERY area of my life is covered—not just some areas, but ALL. I am not forgotten; I am HELD in the Father's detailed, perfect, intentional care.
The Father hasn't forgotten your romantic story—He's writing it with such detailed care that He's counting the hairs on your head while He plans. He's running toward you with a future SO beautiful, you'll be grateful He protected you from settling too soon. He sees you, He hasn't forgotten, and He's orchestrating something better than you can imagine.
