"I have nothing valuable to teach younger people"
How it sounds in your head: What do I know that they can't Google in 30 seconds? They have access to better information, faster. My experience is outdated. They'll figure it out themselves - they don't need me.
"In all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorrigibility."
-- Titus 2:7Enemy lie that wisdom is obsolete in the information age
YouTube tutorials answer every question. Young people seem to bypass traditional learning and go straight to execution. His advice feels antiquated compared to instant access to expert content. Information abundance makes experience feel redundant.
Elisha received a double portion of Elijah's anointing not through a manual or seminar, but through RELATIONSHIP and pattern observation. He asked for what he saw modeled. The transfer was instant when Elijah was taken up - immediate supernatural empowerment through mentorship.
I REFUSE the lie that I have nothing valuable to teach. IT IS WRITTEN that I am to show myself a pattern of good works - which means my life IS the curriculum, not just my information. Information can be Googled; wisdom, integrity, and character under pressure must be WITNESSED. IT IS WRITTEN that I am blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ - which includes the blessing of being a generational conduit of Kingdom truth. I declare that younger people need what I carry, my experience translates into their breakthrough, and my willingness to invest creates exponential Kingdom impact. I am a mentor by design, not by degree.
The Father hasn't made you obsolete in the information age - He's positioned you as a living epistle that younger people can READ when Google fails them. Your pattern of faithfulness, your scars from battles, your integrity when no one was looking - that's the curriculum they're starving for.
