"I have no spiritual authority because I'm just a woman and don't understand warfare."
How it sounds in your head: The men lead prayers at church. The men cast out demons. I'm supposed to be quiet, gentle, submissive—not commanding anything. My role is to pray softly and let the men handle spiritual battles.
"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus."
-- Galatians 3:28Religion taught submission means silence and that authority is masculine, when Scripture says NO male or female in Christ.
Church culture has modeled spiritual warfare as a male domain with loud voices and aggressive postures she doesn't relate to. She's been dismissed when she's tried to speak with authority, so she's learned to defer.
Deborah was a woman judge who commanded the general Barak to go to battle, declaring 'Has not the LORD gone out before you?' She exercised full spiritual and military authority, and Israel had peace for 40 years under her leadership. Her gender didn't limit her authority—God's presence in her did.
I REFUSE the lie that my gender disqualifies me from spiritual authority. IT IS WRITTEN that there is neither male nor female in Christ—I am ONE with Him, seated with Him in heavenly places far above all principality and power. The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead lives in ME. I carry resurrection power regardless of my body. IT IS WRITTEN that the God of peace will crush Satan under MY feet shortly—not my husband's feet, not my pastor's feet, MY feet. I am a daughter of the King, an heir according to the PROMISE, covered by the BARAK blessing that protected Deborah, Esther, and the bleeding woman who took what was hers. I speak with the authority of Heaven because I belong to Jesus.
The Father isn't waiting for you to be male to give you authority—He's already placed His Spirit in you without gender restrictions. He's running toward you with the robe of righteousness and the ring of authority, saying 'You are MINE, and Hell trembles at My name in YOUR mouth.'
