"I have faith for others' healing but can't believe for my own."
How it sounds in your head: I pray for friends and see breakthroughs. But when it's MY body, MY finances, I can't access that same confidence. There's a block when it's personal—maybe I'm not worthy of my own miracles.
"Then Jesus answered and said to her, 'O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.' And her daughter was healed from that very hour."
-- Matthew 15:28Religious unworthiness teaching that makes you believe you can be a conduit for others while disqualifying yourself, as if God has favorites among His children.
Years of putting others first—caring for aging parents, raising children, serving everyone—has trained you to believe your own needs are somehow less legitimate before God.
Bartimaeus cried out for HIMSELF: 'Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on ME!' When told to be quiet, he cried LOUDER. Jesus stopped, called him, and IMMEDIATELY he received his sight—for asking for his OWN need.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm disqualified from believing for my own miracles. IT IS WRITTEN that Bartimaeus cried out for HIMSELF and Jesus immediately restored his sight—my personal needs matter to God. I am righteous by GIFT, not ranked lower than others. IT IS WRITTEN in 3 John 1:2 that God desires I prosper and be in health—I'm specifically included, not exempted. The BARAK blessing is MY inheritance by covenant, not just something I steward for others. My Father delights in MY breakthrough as much as anyone else's because I'm His beloved daughter.
The Father sees you as deserving of miracles as anyone you've ever prayed for. Like Bartimaeus crying 'have mercy on ME,' your personal requests delight Him—you're not being selfish; you're being His daughter.
