"I had my chance with God and I walked away—it's too late now."
How it sounds in your head: I knew the truth and I chose the world. I made promises and broke them. I felt Him calling and I ignored it for years. The door has closed.
"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you."
-- Joel 2:25Religious teaching that God's grace has an expiration date, contradicting the nature of the One who is 'the same yesterday, today, and forever.'
You can see the years you wasted and the opportunities you missed, and shame tells you time erases access. The enemy uses your past delays to convince you of present disqualification.
Jonah heard God's call and literally ran the opposite direction, got swallowed by a fish as consequence, and spent three days in vomit and seaweed. The moment he cried out, God commanded the fish to release him and gave him the SAME assignment again—no punishment tour, no probation period.
I REFUSE the lie that I missed my window with God. IT IS WRITTEN that He restores the years the locust has eaten—the wasted years, the rebellious years, the running years. God is not a one-chance deity. IT IS WRITTEN that His mercies are new EVERY morning, which means this morning I have fresh mercy, fresh grace, fresh access. I will not believe the enemy's timeline when God operates outside of time. The BARAK blessing doesn't expire with age or mistakes—Abraham was blessed at 75 and again at 99. I am never too late for the goodness of God. I receive restoration NOW.
The Father doesn't keep office hours or take His offer off the table because you waited. He's been planning your comeback party the whole time you thought you were disqualified—the fatted calf is ready, the robe is picked out, and He's watching the road for your return.
