"I had an abortion. I'm a murderer. There's no coming back from that level of sin."
How it sounds in your head: I killed my baby. Other sins feel forgivable, but this one is different. I see pregnant girls and want to die. Mother's Day destroys me. I deserve to carry this guilt forever.
"But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from ALL sin."
-- 1 John 1:7Enemy using the weight of real loss and religion's unforgivable sin category to block access to the very blood that covers ALL sin.
The grief is real. The loss is permanent. Pro-life messaging may have labeled it murder. The what-ifs haunt her—what the child would look like, how old they'd be now. The pain feels like deserved punishment.
Manasseh sacrificed his OWN SONS in fire to demons, filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, led an entire nation into evil for 55 years. When he finally cried out to God from captivity, God heard him IMMEDIATELY, restored him to Jerusalem, and he spent his final years serving God—completely forgiven.
I REFUSE the lie that my abortion puts me beyond God's grace. IT IS WRITTEN that the blood of Jesus cleanses from ALL sin—no exceptions, no categories too dark. Manasseh sacrificed his own children to demons and God STILL forgave him instantly when he cried out. IT IS WRITTEN in Isaiah 1:18 that though my sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow. The Father doesn't see me as a murderer; He sees me as His daughter, washed completely clean. I will see that child again in eternity, and there will be NO accusation between us because the blood of Jesus settled it all. I am FORGIVEN, RESTORED, and LOVED.
The Father isn't holding this against you. He's weeping WITH you over the loss while running toward you with the ROBE that covers every sin and the RING that declares you righteous. The baby you grieve is safe with Him, and one day you'll hold them with no shame between you—only His grace.
