"I forfeited my healing by having one moment of unbelief"
How it sounds in your head: I believed for so long, but then one day I thought 'maybe it won't happen'—and that's when I lost it. One crack of doubt destroyed decades of faith. If I had just held on one more day...
"But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, 'Lord, save me!' And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him."
-- Matthew 14:30-31Source: Enemy weaponized Peter walking on water, making one moment of fear the reason for all failure, ignoring that Jesus pulled him UP.
She's replayed the moment she first doubted a thousand times, convinced that was the exact second her miracle died. The teaching that faith must be 'unwavering' makes any waver seem fatal.
Abraham was 100 years old, Sarah's womb was dead, and 'he did not waver in unbelief' is literally followed by the acknowledgment that he faced impossible circumstances—yet he was 'fully convinced.' He had moments of doubt (laughed at God, tried Hagar) but still received Isaac.
I REFUSE the lie that one doubt destroyed decades of faith. IT IS WRITTEN that Peter sank in unbelief and Jesus IMMEDIATELY caught him—the story is Jesus' grip, not Peter's failure. My moment of doubt didn't cancel the Father's promise. IT IS WRITTEN that Abraham faced impossible circumstances and wavered multiple times (tried Hagar, laughed), yet still received Isaac at 100. The BARAK doesn't break because I had a bad day. The Father's hand held me through my sinking moment. His faithfulness outlasts my wavering.
The Father sees you like Peter sinking—not as too far gone but as the reason Jesus extends His hand immediately. He's running on water toward your drowning moment, hand already reaching.
