"I don't hear God's voice clearly anymore. I can't discern what He's saying to fight."
How it sounds in your head: I used to feel like I heard Him so clearly when I was younger. Now everything feels muddy. I second-guess every impression. How can I take authority when I'm not even sure what He's telling me to do?
"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me."
-- John 10:27Enemy + age-related doubt - convincing her that diminished physical senses means diminished SPIRITUAL sensitivity.
Memory isn't as sharp, processing takes longer, and she compares her current experience to what she remembers from decades ago. The enemy twists natural aging into spiritual decline.
Zechariah was OLD, and when the angel appeared with a message, he doubted. God struck him MUTE until the promise came to pass. Then the Spirit FILLED him and he prophesied the most detailed Messianic prophecy in the New Testament. Age didn't stop the Spirit—doubt did, and even that was overcome.
I REFUSE the lie that age or mental fog has disconnected me from God's voice. IT IS WRITTEN that His sheep HEAR His voice—present tense, not past tense. I am His sheep, and I HEAR. Zechariah was old and doubted, but when the Spirit filled him, he prophesied with crystal clarity. My ability to hear isn't based on brain function—it's based on the SPIRIT who dwells in me. IT IS WRITTEN in 1 Corinthians 2:16 that I have the MIND of Christ. The same Spirit who inspired Scripture lives in me and guides me into all truth. I HEAR the Father's voice because I am His daughter, His sheep, and His dwelling place. My discernment is SHARP because the Spirit is SHARP, and He speaks clearly to those who listen.
The Father hasn't stopped speaking—He's whispering the same truths He's spoken over you for 70 years, and they're even TRUER now. Your spiritual ears aren't aging; they're being refined by decades of learning His tone.
