"I don't have enough left to give—I'm empty, depleted, burned out."
How it sounds in your head: You spent your whole life pouring out for work, for family, for everyone else's needs. Now you're running on fumes. There's nothing left in the tank. You gave everything you had, and now you're empty.
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day."
-- 2 Corinthians 4:16Source: World system that drains without refilling and religion that demands you produce fruit by striving.
You feel it physically and emotionally—the exhaustion that doesn't go away with rest. You've been the provider, the problem-solver, the strong one for decades, and the well is dry.
Elijah was so burned out after confronting 450 prophets of Baal that he asked God to kill him—'I've had enough, Lord. Take my life.' He was DONE. God's response? An angel brought him food, he slept, ate again, and went 40 days in the strength of that ONE MEAL. Instant supernatural refilling.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm empty, depleted, or running on fumes. IT IS WRITTEN that though my outward man is perishing, my INWARD man is being renewed DAY BY DAY. I am not a well that runs dry—I am a branch attached to the VINE. IT IS WRITTEN that rivers of LIVING water flow from my innermost being. I don't produce fruit by striving—I ABIDE and fruit comes naturally. I am filled with the FULLNESS of God. My strength is not my own—it's HIS strength made perfect in my weakness. I am RENEWED, REFILLED, and OVERFLOWING from an inexhaustible source.
The Father isn't looking at your empty tank with disappointment—He's running toward you with the BREAD that sustained Elijah for 40 days, eager to refill you with one touch. Like the prodigal who came home exhausted and starving and was immediately fed the FATTENED CALF (more than enough, not just survival rations), your Father doesn't ration refilling—He FLOODS you with abundance the moment you turn toward Him.
