"I could be sick for a week and no one would even notice I was gone from school."
How it sounds in your head: I see other kids come back from being absent and everyone crowds around asking where they were. I miss school and come back to silence. No one texts to ask why I wasn't there. I'm present, but I'm not MISSED.
"Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows."
-- Matthew 10:29-31Enemy isolating her emotionally by using temporary social blindness to make her believe she's permanently insignificant.
Pre-teens ARE self-absorbed and genuinely might not notice someone's absence unless they're close friends. She's interpreting normal kid self-focus as evidence that she doesn't matter.
Mephibosheth was crippled, hiding in obscurity in a forgotten place called Lo Debar (which literally means 'no pasture, no thing'). King David asked 'Is there ANYONE left?' and searched until he found him, restored his inheritance, and made him eat at the king's table FOREVER - from forgotten to FAMILY in one day.
I REFUSE the lie that my absence would go unnoticed. IT IS WRITTEN that not one sparrow falls without my Father knowing, and I am worth MORE than many sparrows. God has numbered the hairs on my head, which means He is so intimately aware of me that Heaven keeps COUNT. IT IS WRITTEN that He knows when I sit and when I rise, when I come to school and when I stay home. I am never invisible to the One who matters most. I carry the Abrahamic blessing that caused God to personally visit Abraham's tent, and that same blessing brings God's ATTENTION to my life every single day. I am noticed, known, and never overlooked by Heaven.
Right now the Father is counting your tears in a bottle, numbering your hairs, writing your story. While classmates might forget, HE is incapable of forgetting you. You are the object of Heaven's obsession, the focus of the Father's delight, and you could never be invisible to Him.
