"I can't find a church that preaches real truth anymore."
How it sounds in your head: It's all watered down. Seeker-sensitive garbage. Entertainment, not substance. Or it's the opposite—all fire and brimstone, no love. Where are the churches that actually preach the WHOLE counsel of God? Maybe they don't exist anymore. Maybe you're the last one who cares about truth.
"And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ."
-- Ephesians 4:11-12Enemy isolates you with critical perfectionism, ensuring you'll never find the 'perfect' church because it doesn't exist—keeping you alone when you need imperfect family most.
You've church-hopped and found legitimate problems everywhere—compromise here, harshness there, shallowness everywhere. At your age you can spot theological drift instantly, and your discernment isn't wrong—but it's becoming a barrier to connection.
When they heard Apollos preach with partial understanding, they didn't leave in disgust—they took him aside and explained the way of God more accurately. He received it, and became one of the most effective ministers in the early church. Connection corrected what isolation would have calcified.
I REFUSE the lie that real churches don't exist anymore. IT IS WRITTEN that God Himself gave apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to equip the saints. He is STILL raising up faithful leaders—I don't have to find the perfect church, I have to find AUTHENTIC family. IT IS WRITTEN in Ephesians 4 that these gifts exist for my equipping. I am the SEED OF ABRAHAM—blessed to be a BLESSING. The Father is positioning me in a church family RIGHT NOW where my voice is needed and my heart will be fed. I stop demanding perfection and receive AUTHENTIC connection. My tribe is coming NOW.
The Father sees your hunger for truth and your exhaustion from searching, and He's about to connect you with imperfect people who love Jesus desperately—and you'll realize THAT was the whole counsel of God all along: messy people transformed by scandalous grace.
