Too Much
"I ask for too much attention and help from others"

How it sounds in your head: I feel like I'm always bothering people with my questions or needs. My parents seem tired of me asking for help. I should be able to figure things out on my own by now, but I can't, and that makes me feel weak.

Matthew 7:7-8

"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened."

-- Matthew 7:7-8
Enemy whispers: You ask for too much, you're needy and annoying. BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Matthew 7:7-8 - 'Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find.' Jesus commands you TO ASK. Not once. Not politely. KEEP ASKING. Keep seeking. Keep knocking. The Father NEVER rolls His eyes at your requests. He CELEBRATES when you come to Him. You're not bothering Him—you're DELIGHTING Him.
Quick Truth: LIE: I ask for too much. TRUTH: God commands me to ask and promises to answer (Matthew 7:7-8)

World system teaching self-sufficiency as maturity, making him believe dependence equals weakness instead of design.

Why this feels true:

Adults have sighed or seemed annoyed when he's asked for help multiple times. He's entering the age where 'being independent' is praised, so needing help feels like failure.

Mark 10:46-52
Blind Bartimaeus

Bartimaeus shouted SO LOUD for Jesus that the crowd told him to be quiet, saying he was too much. He shouted LOUDER, refusing to tone down his need, and Jesus STOPPED, called him over, and healed him instantly.

Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that my needs are too much or that asking for help makes me weak. IT IS WRITTEN that I should ask, seek, and knock, and everyone who asks RECEIVES. My Father doesn't tire of my questions—He invites them. IT IS WRITTEN that I am blessed coming in and going out, in the city and in the field, and that blessing includes having my needs met ABUNDANTLY. I am not a burden to the people in my life; I am a BLESSING. The BARAK covenant over my life means I have divine favor, and the right people will WANT to help me. I walk in the confidence that God has already provided everything I need, and He connects me with the resources and people to access it.

But God actually:

The Father isn't counting how many times you've asked or measuring your independence. He's watching to see if you'll keep coming to Him, keep asking, keep trusting. Every question you ask is another opportunity for Him to show you He's GOOD.
