"Healing is rare and only for special occasions."
How it sounds in your head: Maybe God does heal sometimes, like at big crusades or for missionaries, but it's not normal everyday life. Healing is exceptional, not expected. I shouldn't get my hopes up for something that rarely happens.
"And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people."
-- Matthew 4:23Source: Powerless church culture that treats miracles as nostalgia, not normal.
She's only heard healing testimonies from famous ministries or distant countries, never in her own church. This makes healing feel like a lottery—possible but improbable for regular people like her.
Peter's mother-in-law had a fever—a common, non-dramatic illness. Jesus touched her hand, the fever LEFT her IMMEDIATELY, and she got up and served them—instant healing of an ordinary sickness in a regular home.
I REFUSE the lie that healing is rare or only for special occasions! IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus healed ALL MANNER of sickness and disease—common colds, chronic conditions, everything. I am Abraham's seed, and the BARAK blessing makes healing NORMAL, not exceptional, in my life. IT IS WRITTEN that by His stripes I was healed—this is everyday covenant provision, like daily bread. I expect healing routinely, regularly, constantly because that's what Jesus demonstrated. Healing isn't rare—it's my BIRTHRIGHT. I walk in divine health NOW!
Your Father isn't saving healing for crusades and emergencies—He's running toward you with healing for your headache, your cramps, your stress. While you're thinking you're not special enough, He's throwing the party of your everyday miracle.
