"Healing is random or mysterious. We can't know why some are healed and others aren't."
How it sounds in your head: It seems random who gets healed. Maybe it's God's mysterious sovereignty—some chosen for healing, others not. I can pray but can't expect anything specific. His ways are higher than mine, so I just have to accept whatever happens.
"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."
-- 3 John 1:2Religious fatalism disguised as humility, making God unpredictable and healing a divine lottery.
You've seen identical prayers with different outcomes, which seems to prove God picks and chooses. Calling it 'mystery' feels safer than admitting confusion. Accepting unpredictability seems more humble than claiming promises.
Jesus touched the blind man once—partial healing. Touched again—complete healing. Even when healing came in stages, Jesus didn't stop until the man saw clearly. Persistence, not mystery, brought full breakthrough.
I REFUSE the lie that healing is a mysterious lottery I can't understand. IT IS WRITTEN that God's will is for me to prosper and be in health—no mystery there. Jesus healed everyone who came to Him in faith. The BARAK blessing on Abraham's seed includes divine health as covenant right, not random gift. IT IS WRITTEN that He sent His word and healed them—His word isn't unpredictable, it's powerful and sure. I don't worship mystery; I worship a good Father with clear promises.
Your Father isn't randomly distributing healing like lottery tickets—He's offering it freely to all who receive. Like the prodigal's father had the robe ready for ANY son who came home, your Father has healing ready for you right now.
