"God won't heal me because I'm old. Sickness is just natural at my age."
How it sounds in your head: Healing is for young people with their whole lives ahead. I'm supposed to decline now. This pain is just part of being ninety. Why would God waste a miracle on someone about to die anyway?
"So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days."
-- Exodus 23:25-26Religion: Church culture has normalized sickness in the elderly, calling it 'natural' instead of recognizing it as curse territory Jesus redeemed us from.
Every friend her age is sick. Doctors treat her decline as expected. Even well-meaning Christians say 'at your age' as explanation for suffering.
Sarah was 90 years old—NINETY—when God opened her womb and she bore Isaac. God didn't say 'too old for miracles.' He gave her supernatural strength to carry, deliver, and nurse a baby at an age when she should have been physically incapable!
I REFUSE the lie that my age disqualifies me from healing. IT IS WRITTEN that God takes sickness away and fulfills the number of my days—sickness steals days, it doesn't fulfill them. My white hair is a crown of glory, not a mark of inevitable decline. IT IS WRITTEN in Galatians 3:13 that Christ redeemed me from the curse, and sickness is listed in Deuteronomy 28 as CURSE territory. I am the Abrahamic BARAK blessing—the same blessing that protected and healed Abraham into his hundreds. I receive supernatural strength, healing, and divine health RIGHT NOW.
The Father isn't withholding healing because of your age—He's the same God who gave Sarah a baby at 90! He's saying, 'I fulfill days, I don't just let you survive them. Let Me show you My power has no age limit.'
