"God will punish me for prospering while others are in need."
How it sounds in your head: If I'm doing well financially while people are homeless and hungry, isn't God going to judge me for that? Maybe my prosperity is actually a test I'm failing. I should feel worse about having plenty.
"And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work."
-- 2 Corinthians 9:8Source: Enemy twisted God's heart for the poor into condemnation of the blessed, making every blessing feel like a pending judgment.
The rich man ignored Lazarus at his gate and ended up in hell. Every prosperity feels like you're one ignored beggar away from judgment.
Boaz was wealthy and used his abundance to bless Ruth lavishly—he didn't give her leftovers; he gave her MORE than she could carry. His wealth positioned him to be a redeemer, not a villain.
I REFUSE the lie that God will punish my prosperity. IT IS WRITTEN in 2 Corinthians 9:8 that God makes all grace abound toward me so I have ALL SUFFICIENCY in ALL THINGS and abundance for every good work. My blessing isn't judgment—it's DEPLOYMENT. IT IS WRITTEN in Psalm 35:27 that the Lord takes PLEASURE in the prosperity of His servant. God isn't mad that I have plenty while others need—He's positioning me to MEET the need. I am blessed to BE a blessing. The BARAK on my life makes me a conduit, not a dam. I receive abundantly, give generously, and walk in the freedom of covenant blessing without fear or guilt.
Your Father isn't keeping a ledger of how much you have versus how much others lack. He's positioning you as a DISTRIBUTOR of His goodness. He fills you to overflow so you can pour into others. Your prosperity isn't pending judgment—it's present provision for Kingdom work.
