"God will bless me when I get my finances in order first"
How it sounds in your head: I need to get the budget right, pay down some debt, maybe then I'll have something worth blessing. God can't work with this mess. Once I'm more responsible, THEN I can be generous and expect His favor.
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Her financial chaos is embarrassing and real. She's been taught that God rewards responsibility, and her current state doesn't look rewardable. Waiting until she's 'better' feels humble and wise.
He blew everything on prostitutes, ended up in a pig pen, came home smelling like failure. The Father RAN to him, didn't wait for him to shower, gave him ring, robe, sandals, and threw a party—INSTANT restoration, zero probation period.
I REFUSE the lie that God's blessing waits for my performance. IT IS WRITTEN that while I was STILL a sinner, Christ died for me—He moved toward my mess, not away from it. I don't have to get it together first; I am the branch, He is the Vine, and fruit comes from CONNECTION, not my effort to produce. The BARAK blessing covered liars, deceivers, and murderers in the old covenant; how much MORE does the blood of Jesus cover me in the new! IT IS WRITTEN that He works ALL things together for good—not 'all organized things,' ALL things. My chaos is not disqualifying; His grace is MORE than qualifying.
The Father is already running toward you with the robe of righteousness in His hands, not waiting at a distance for you to earn an appointment. He's not disgusted by your financial mess—He's EXCITED to show you what His supply looks like in impossible situations.
