"God waited too long—I'm dying before I see His promises fulfilled."
How it sounds in your head: I'm 90-something years old. If God was going to answer, He would have by now. My time is up. I waited my whole life and He didn't come through. I'm dying with unfulfilled promises.
"For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."
-- Habakkuk 2:3Enemy + Religion—the lie that God's timing must match human lifespan expectations and that death ends His ability to fulfill promises.
Every birthday feels like countdown to zero, and physical decline screams 'too late.' Watching friends die makes promises feel like cruel jokes when the body is failing.
Abraham waited 25 YEARS for Isaac—received the promise at age 100 when 'as good as dead' (Romans 4:19). God fulfilled the impossible promise in extreme old age, proving His timing isn't limited by human biology or lifespan.
I REFUSE the lie that God's promises expire with my body. IT IS WRITTEN that though the vision tarries, it will surely come and will not lie. I am an heir of Abraham who received Isaac at 100 years old. My age doesn't limit God—it magnifies His glory. IT IS WRITTEN that I am blessed with faithful Abraham, and the BARAK blessing protects me coming in and going out, in my final days and beyond. God is not slow—He is strategic. I will see His goodness in the land of the living.
The Father isn't counting your years—He's preparing your miracle. Like He did for Abraham at 100, He delights in impossible timing that proves HIS power, not your youth. He's running toward you with the promise, and your age is the perfect setup for His glory.
