"Waiting is God's way of testing if I really want it enough to endure."
How it sounds in your head: This delay is a test. If you complain or give up, you'll fail and lose the blessing. You have to prove your commitment by enduring without questioning.
"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us."
-- Ephesians 3:20Works-based religious lie making breakthrough dependent on endurance performance—opposite of grace.
She's been taught that God 'tests' people by making them wait to see who's 'really serious.' It feels true because church culture celebrates stories of people who 'waited faithfully for years,' implying that's the requirement.
Lived an entire life of crime, met Jesus HOURS before death, no time to 'prove himself' or 'wait faithfully.' One moment of turning to Jesus, and Jesus said 'TODAY you will be with Me in Paradise'—no waiting period, no test, instant eternal breakthrough.
I REFUSE the lie that waiting is God's test to prove my worthiness. IT IS WRITTEN that He does EXCEEDINGLY ABUNDANTLY above what I ask or think—not based on how long I endured, but according to His POWER. I am under GRACE, not performance reviews. IT IS WRITTEN that there is NO condemnation—God isn't testing me; He's BLESSING me. The thief on the cross got Paradise in hours, not years. The BARAK blessing wasn't earned through endurance—it was COVENANT, and I'm in the BETTER covenant through Christ's blood. Waiting doesn't increase my worthiness—it's already complete IN HIM.
The Father isn't holding back to see if you'll 'endure the test'—He's positioning the blessing so perfectly that when it comes, you'll know it was HIM. You don't earn it by waiting longer; you receive it because you're His daughter, period.
