Faced with rebuilding the temple with limited resources and opposition, Zerubbabel learned God's method: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord.' The mountain became a plain not by human effort but by God's Spirit doing what man couldn't.
I REFUSE the lie that God needs my strength. IT IS WRITTEN that if He were hungry He wouldn't tell me, for the world is His and all its fullness. His kingdom doesn't depend on my exhausted pushing. The BARAK blessing doesn't require my strength—Abraham was blessed when he was LYING. I rest in His sovereignty, and His work continues because HE is faithful.
