"God must be punishing my parents with infertility because of something they did wrong"
How it sounds in your head: Adults whisper about 'God's timing' and 'His plan' but it sounds like they're saying Mom and Dad aren't good enough yet. Maybe they sinned before marriage. Maybe they're being tested. Maybe they need to pray harder or give more money. It feels like God is holding the baby hostage until they prove something.
"He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?"
-- Romans 8:32Source: Religious karma teaching that God withholds blessing based on performance, turning the Father into a transactional vending machine instead of the gift-giver of Romans 8:32
Religious people constantly connect suffering to hidden sin or lack of faith, making every struggle feel like divine punishment. The pattern of 'confess, repent, then receive' makes God's love conditional.
Hannah's womb was closed for YEARS with no explanation or sin mentioned - she was righteous but barren. The moment she prayed in faith, God opened her womb and she conceived IMMEDIATELY, bearing Samuel without any 'process of healing' or proving herself.
I REFUSE the lie that God is punishing my parents or withholding a baby until they prove something. IT IS WRITTEN that there is NO condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. My parents are righteous by FAITH, not works. IT IS WRITTEN that God freely gives us all things with Christ - babies included. The BARAK blessing on Abraham's seed protected him even when he LIED. My parents don't earn children; they RECEIVE them by covenant promise. I decree every womb in my family line is OPEN in Jesus' name. Every seed is blessed. Every delay is OVER. God is not withholding; He's releasing ABUNDANT LIFE.
The Father isn't holding a baby hostage waiting for perfect behavior - He GAVE His Son, so how would He withhold a child? He's already running toward your family with the gift wrapped, ready to explode their hearts with joy the moment faith says 'yes.'
