"God is waiting for me to learn something before He opens the next door."
How it sounds in your head: This unemployment must be a lesson. Maybe you're supposed to learn patience, faith, humility, trust. Once you've learned whatever this is teaching you, then the door will open. You haven't grown enough yet.
"So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, 'It is finished!' And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit."
-- John 19:30Religious lie: makes breakthrough conditional on spiritual performance, turning Father into teacher who withholds until you pass tests.
Church culture constantly talks about 'seasons of preparation,' 'wilderness training,' 'God's classroom.' The delay feels like it must have pedagogical purpose or it's wasted.
The thief learned nothing, changed nothing, proved nothing, grew nothing. He was DYING. Jesus gave him paradise THAT DAY. No lesson plan. No character development. No proving season. Instant access based on one moment of faith.
I REFUSE the lie that God is withholding until I learn something. IT IS WRITTEN: 'It is FINISHED' - not 'it will be when you grow more.' I am not in God's classroom earning graduation. IT IS WRITTEN that He has ALREADY blessed me with EVERY spiritual blessing in Christ. My access is NOW, not after lessons. The thief on the cross got paradise with zero spiritual formation. I am not waiting to qualify - I AM QUALIFIED by His blood. The door isn't waiting for my maturity - it's waiting for His TIMING, and that timing is NOW because He's a Father who RUNS, not a teacher who tests.
Your Father isn't waiting for you to learn something. He's not a professor - He's the Father running toward you with everything prepared BEFORE you figured anything out. The door is opening because of HIS FINISHED WORK, not your unfinished lessons.
