"God is using this exhaustion to teach me to slow down and be still."
How it sounds in your head: Maybe I was too busy, too driven, too focused on doing instead of being. Perhaps God allowed this fatigue to force me into stillness and teach me what really matters before it's too late.
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning."
-- James 1:17Religious teaching making God the author of suffering and using sickness as a teaching tool.
Pastors have preached about 'divine slowdowns' and she was admittedly too busy before the fatigue hit. The timing makes it seem purposeful, like a loving correction.
Satan afflicted Job with sickness, not God. Job's friends insisted it was divine punishment or teaching, but God rebuked them for misrepresenting Him. When Job prayed for his friends, God restored DOUBLE everything Job lost—God is the Restorer, not the Afflicter.
I REFUSE the lie that God authored my exhaustion to teach me something or slow me down. IT IS WRITTEN that every good and perfect gift comes from the Father—fatigue is NEITHER. God doesn't give sickness; Jesus destroyed the works of the devil. Job's friends blamed God for affliction and God rebuked them, then RESTORED double. IT IS WRITTEN in John 10:10 the thief comes to steal, kill, destroy, but Jesus came to give ABUNDANT LIFE. My exhaustion isn't divine curriculum; it's enemy theft that Jesus already defeated. I receive complete restoration and abundant energy NOW.
The Father isn't orchestrating your exhaustion as a teaching moment—He's running toward you with the same restoration He gave Job, ready to give back double what's been stolen. He sees you vibrant and energized, not slowed down by sickness.
