"God is teaching me something through this exhaustion so I need to endure it."
How it sounds in your head: There must be a lesson I'm supposed to learn here. Maybe God is using this tiredness to humble me, slow me down, teach me dependence. If I get healed too soon, I'll miss what He's trying to show me.
"How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him."
-- Acts 10:38Religion making God the author of affliction, teaching that He inflicts exhaustion as pedagogy rather than Jesus who 'went about doing good and healing ALL who were oppressed by the devil' (Acts 10:38).
Church culture romanticizes suffering as spiritual education, making her afraid that seeking healing is resisting God's curriculum. Testimonies of 'what I learned through suffering' make endurance sound holier than deliverance.
Paul had a 'thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan'—note the SOURCE: Satan, not God. Paul asked three times for removal; God said 'My grace is sufficient.' The lesson wasn't the thorn; it was discovering grace's sufficiency. And we don't even know if he stayed sick—many scholars believe the thorn was persecution, not illness.
I REFUSE the lie that God authors exhaustion as a teaching tool. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus healed ALL oppressed by the devil—sickness is oppression, not curriculum. God doesn't need to make me sick to teach me; He has the Word, the Spirit, and His presence. Like the paralyzed man at Bethesda for 38 years—Jesus didn't say 'what did you learn?'—He said 'Rise, take up your bed and walk.' IT IS WRITTEN in James 1:17 that every GOOD gift comes from the Father—no sickness, no exhaustion, only good. I am under the blessing of Abraham, not the curse. Deuteronomy 28's curses include exhaustion and weariness; the blessings include strength and vitality. Christ redeemed me FROM the curse TO the blessing. I receive divine energy NOW as a gift, not later after I've learned enough.
The Father isn't inflicting fatigue to teach you lessons—He's the One who healed ALL who came, who never used sickness as pedagogy. He's running toward you with healing in His wings, not a spiritual syllabus. Jesus revealed the Father's heart: healing the sick, not assigning illness as homework. You're His daughter, and His nature is to restore, not to afflict.
