"God is teaching me patience through unanswered prayer"
How it sounds in your head: Maybe this delay is part of God's plan to build your character. Everything happens for a reason. Perhaps you're supposed to learn to wait and trust the process. Don't rush God's timing.
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning."
-- James 1:17Religion romanticizes delay as divine pedagogy, making God the author of withholding instead of the enemy the resister.
Church culture celebrates waiting, quotes 'God's timing is perfect,' and makes patience sound more spiritual than breakthrough. Delay feels more holy than immediate answers.
Dead FOUR DAYS, body decomposing, Mary said 'he stinks.' Jesus spoke ONE WORD and Lazarus walked out IMMEDIATELY. Death didn't require a slow resurrection process—instant life.
I REFUSE the lie that God teaches through withholding. IT IS WRITTEN that EVERY good gift comes from the Father of lights—delay is not His gift. The thief comes to steal, kill, destroy; Jesus came to give ABUNDANT LIFE. IT IS WRITTEN that God is not willing that any should perish but that ALL should come to abundance. The BARAK blessing brought SUDDEN wealth to those who didn't deserve it. God's nature is generous interruption, not patient withholding. My answer is coming NOW.
Your Father isn't making you wait to build character. He's a giver who runs toward you with the fattened calf already cooked. The delay is the enemy's resistance, not the Father's curriculum. Breakthrough is on the way.
