"God is frustrated with how long it's taking me to heal"
How it sounds in your head: I should be over this by now. Other people recover faster. God must be wondering why I'm still struggling with the same wounds and triggers.
"As a father pities his children, So the LORD pities those who fear Him. For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust."
-- Psalm 103:13-14Source: Religious timelines and comparison - the enemy puts a clock on healing to create shame over God's compassionate process.
You see others seemingly move past trauma quickly while your healing feels slow. Every setback feels like evidence you're disappointing God with your pace.
She suffered for 12 YEARS, spent all her money on doctors who made it worse, and was considered unclean. When she touched Jesus, He didn't say 'why did this take 12 years?' He said 'Daughter, your faith has made you well' and she was INSTANTLY healed.
I REFUSE the lie that God is frustrated with my healing timeline. IT IS WRITTEN that He KNOWS my frame and REMEMBERS I am dust - He's not impatient, He's compassionate. My healing is not a race with a disappointed God at the finish line. IT IS WRITTEN in Isaiah 42:3 that He will not break a bruised reed or quench a smoking flax. The BARAK blessing doesn't wait for me to be fully healed - it covers me IN the process. I am not behind schedule; I am held in Grace.
The Father isn't watching a clock on your healing - He's holding you in it. Like the prodigal's father who didn't require therapy before the party, He celebrates your homecoming WHILE you're still wounded.
