"God is disappointed I use insulin instead of believing Him for healing of my diabetes."
How it sounds in your head: That missionary story said God healed someone who threw away their insulin. Maybe I'm blocking my own miracle by not having enough courage to trust God completely. Every injection feels like I'm choosing medicine over faith.
"So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him."
-- Luke 10:34Charismatic extremism weaponizing Mark 11:24 while ignoring God's provision through medical science.
He's heard dramatic testimonies of people quitting medication and being healed instantly. His body's dependence on insulin feels like spiritual weakness compared to those 'faith heroes.'
King Hezekiah was dying and God promised to heal him. But God's method? Isaiah applied a POULTICE OF FIGS (ancient medicine) to the boil, and THEN Hezekiah recovered - miracle THROUGH medicine, not instead of it.
I REFUSE the lie that my insulin disappoints God! IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus praised medical treatment in the Good Samaritan story, and Hezekiah was healed through a FIG POULTICE, not despite it. God's provision includes EVERY good gift - doctors, medicine, and insulin are ALL from His hand! The BARAK blessing on my life isn't canceled by my pancreas function. IT IS WRITTEN there is NO condemnation in Christ Jesus. My Father runs toward me with provision in EVERY form, and I receive it ALL without guilt!
Your Father isn't standing with crossed arms waiting for you to prove your faith by risking your life. He's the One who INVENTED your insulin, gave doctors the knowledge to create it, and provides it for you daily as surely as He sent manna from heaven.
