"God has a plan for everyone's love life except mine. He forgot about me in this area."
How it sounds in your head: I see other Christian guys getting into relationships, even getting prayers answered about it. But when I pray, it's just silence. Maybe God cares about other people's happiness but not mine. Maybe I'm just not important enough.
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."
-- Jeremiah 29:11Enemy twisting God's silence into abandonment, religious lie that blessings are earned not given.
Watching others receive what you're praying for creates the illusion that God plays favorites. Silence can feel like rejection, especially when you're already feeling invisible to peers.
Joseph endured slavery and prison for 13 years with zero mention of relationships, probably thinking he'd die alone in Egypt. Then in ONE DAY Pharaoh gave him a wife, and he had two sons, naming the second 'God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction.'
I REFUSE the lie that God forgot about my future or my relationships. IT IS WRITTEN that God knows the thoughts He thinks toward me - thoughts of peace and hope, including plans for a future. Every area of my life is covered by His covenant promises. IT IS WRITTEN that no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. The BARAK blessing over Abraham's seed includes relationships, family, and joy. I am not forgotten, overlooked, or an exception. I declare that God's timing is perfect, His plans are good, and supernatural provision is coming in every area including relationships.
The Father hasn't forgotten a single prayer you've whispered about this - He's been working behind the scenes the entire time, orchestrating details you can't see yet. While you wait, His love for you hasn't decreased one bit; if anything, He's jealous to be enough for you right now.
