"God gives babies to people who don't even want them, but not to people who do."
How it sounds in your head: You see news stories about babies abandoned or abused, and it makes you angry and confused. Why would God let bad people have kids easily while good people suffer? It feels random and cruel.
"He grants the barren woman a home, like a joyful mother of children. Praise the Lord!"
-- Psalm 113:9Enemy uses injustice observations to paint God as arbitrary and withholding, attacking His character.
You're developing a sense of fairness and this violates it completely. The evidence seems overwhelming—people who'd be terrible parents get pregnant accidentally while loving people wait years.
Hannah was barren while her rival Peninnah had many children and mocked her constantly. God remembered Hannah, and she conceived Samuel—who became one of Israel's greatest prophets—turning her shame into legacy.
I REFUSE the lie that God plays favorites or withholds good gifts. IT IS WRITTEN: 'He grants the barren woman a home, like a joyful mother of children.' The same God who remembered Hannah remembers every desire for family. What others receive doesn't diminish what's available to me—His storehouse has no limit. IT IS WRITTEN: 'No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly,' and I'm made upright in Christ, not by my behavior. I receive the blessing of fruitfulness NOW, because that's who my Father IS.
The Father isn't comparing you to anyone else—He's running toward you with EXACTLY what you need, the same way He remembered Hannah's tears. What He gives others doesn't decrease what He has for you.
