"This infertility means something is fundamentally wrong with me as a man"
How it sounds in your head: Your masculinity feels questioned—if you can't perform this most basic biological function, what does that say about you? Other guys don't have this problem. Maybe you're defective at a core level, less of a man.
"For thus says the LORD: 'To the eunuchs who keep My Sabbaths, and choose what pleases Me, and hold fast My covenant, even to them I will give in My house and within My walls a place and a name better than that of sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that shall not be cut off'"
-- Isaiah 56:4-5Enemy attacking identity through biological performance, equating manhood with fertility like pagan cultures.
Provider/protector identity feels intrinsically linked to ability to produce offspring—fertility issues strike at masculine core. Cultural messaging equates virility with manhood, making infertility feel like failure of identity.
Eunuchs were considered defective men, excluded from Jewish assembly, no biological children possible. God specifically addressed them promising something BETTER than natural offspring—an everlasting name and special place in His house, redefining value beyond biological capacity.
I REFUSE the lie that fertility defines manhood. IT IS WRITTEN that God promised EUNUCHS something BETTER than sons and daughters—my value isn't in biology. My masculinity is rooted in being made in God's IMAGE, not in reproductive performance. I am COMPLETE in Christ, lacking nothing. IT IS WRITTEN that in Christ there is no male or female—identity transcends biological function. I reject cultural definitions of manhood that make me less-than for circumstances beyond my control. I AM a man because God MADE me one, not because of what my body can or can't do.
The Father doesn't measure your manhood by sperm count—He sees you as His son, full of His image, complete in identity regardless of fertility. He's not waiting for test results to affirm your masculinity; He declared it at creation.
