"I caused my miscarriage through stress, sin, or not being careful enough."
How it sounds in your head: I replay every moment - the coffee I drank, the argument with my husband, the stress at work. If only I'd been more careful, prayed more, rested more. This is my fault and now I've lost this child forever.
"Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them."
-- Psalm 139:16Enemy's accusation weaponizing natural grief into false guilt, partnering with religious condemnation that makes every loss evidence of personal failure.
The mind searches desperately for control in uncontrollable situations, and self-blame feels safer than randomness. Well-meaning people asking 'what happened?' implies there must be a cause she could have prevented.
She'd had bleeding issues for 12 YEARS, spent everything on doctors, only got worse. One touch of Jesus' garment and IMMEDIATELY the flow stopped - He called her 'daughter' and said her faith made her well, no condemnation for her condition.
I REFUSE the lie that I caused my miscarriage. IT IS WRITTEN: God fashioned the days for that child and He numbers every moment. I am NOT under condemnation but under GRACE. The enemy is the thief who comes to steal and destroy, but Jesus came to give LIFE abundantly. IT IS WRITTEN: 'There is therefore now NO condemnation to those in Christ Jesus.' I release false guilt and receive the Father's comfort. He is running toward me with embrace, not accusation.
The Father isn't replaying your actions looking for your mistake - He's weeping WITH you over the loss, not AT you for causing it. He sees your broken heart and runs toward you like the prodigal's father, not to lecture but to embrace and restore.
