"God gave me so many chances and I blew them all. He must be done with me."
How it sounds in your head: How many times did God open doors I walked away from? How many warnings did I ignore? How many years did I waste? There comes a point when even God's patience runs out. I've used up all my chances.
"Through the LORD's mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness."
-- Lamentations 3:22-23Source: Religious teaching about limits to God's grace, mixed with enemy strategy to convince aging believers they've exhausted divine mercy.
You can count the missed opportunities and poor choices over decades. At your age, there's no time to 'make it up' and the pattern of past failures feels like evidence that God has moved on from you.
Denied Jesus THREE times with cursing after walking with Him for three years and witnessing countless miracles. Jesus didn't lecture him, put him on probation, or make him earn his way back—He cooked him BREAKFAST on the beach and restored him INSTANTLY to full apostolic authority.
I REFUSE the lie that I've blown all my chances with God. IT IS WRITTEN that His mercies are NEW EVERY MORNING—not depleted, not exhausted, not conditional on my track record. My Father doesn't have a strike system; He has an ENDLESS SUPPLY of compassion. I am covered by the BARAK blessing of Abraham, which protected liars, deceivers, and failures BECAUSE of covenant, not performance. IT IS WRITTEN that there is NO condemnation for those in Christ. God's patience with me doesn't run out because His nature is ENDLESS LOVE. Today—right now—I stand in FRESH MERCY, not used-up chances.
Your Father isn't counting your failures like a cosmic accountant. He's waking you up each morning with NEW mercy, whispering 'We're starting fresh today.' Like Peter who denied Him three times and got breakfast instead of rejection, you're getting FRESH GRACE, not final warnings.
