"God expected me to stay pure and I failed Him."
How it sounds in your head: I crossed lines I swore I wouldn't cross. Every purity culture message said God had a special plan for virgins, and I ruined it. I can feel His disappointment every time I pray. I'm damaged goods now.
"I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; And I will not remember your sins."
-- Isaiah 43:25Source: purity culture religion that made virginity an idol and presented God's love as conditional on sexual history.

Rahab was a practicing prostitute—not a past mistake, but her current profession—when God chose her for His plan. No waiting period, no rehabilitation program. She went from brothel to MESSIANIC BLOODLINE, grandmother of King David, listed in Jesus' genealy immediately after her act of faith.
I REFUSE the lie that my sexual past disqualifies me from God's best. IT IS WRITTEN that God blots out my transgressions and DOES NOT REMEMBER my sins—not reluctantly, but for His OWN sake. I am not damaged goods waiting for a lesser plan. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, washed white as snow, presented faultless before the throne. IT IS WRITTEN that there is NOW no condemnation for those in Christ. Rahab went from prostitute to Jesus' family tree, and my Father specializes in instant restoration. I receive His delight over me RIGHT NOW.
The Father doesn't see your past when He looks at you—He sees Jesus' blood, which speaks better things than your mistakes. Like the prodigal still smelling like pigs, He's running toward you with the robe of righteousness, not to cover shame but to declare identity: BELOVED, PURE, DAUGHTER.
